Our Wines

All Rizzo wines are hand-crafted in small lots with loving care.  The fruit is picked by hand with vineyard blocks being fermented separately to retain the micro-terrior characteristics.  Side-by-side trials allow us to create the absolute best wines.  Each vintage will be reminiscent of the weather, terrior, and the varietal.  A wine from the same vineyard, made from the same fruit can be different because each year is different.   If you like a particular wine and vintage, then consider buying that case now.

This is only a partial list of our wines.  Please check out the On-line Store to see all the available wines and prices!

2012 Zinfandel (Echo West Vineyards): Not your run of the mill Zinfandel, floral, violet, and the volcanic ash this fruit was grown in aromatics give way to flavors of boysenberry and blueberry as each sip tantalizes your palate. The finish brings cocoa and cloves that linger and transitions into soft subtle tannins and acidity. A more perfectly balanced wine is difficult to find.

Gold medal winner - 2016 Newport Wine Festival.

2014 Carménère (Echo West Vineyards):   Deep crimson color is a feast for your eyes as the tobacco and blackberry aromas escape from the rim of your glass.  Swish this wonderfully quaffable wine all around your mouth to savor blackberry and dark fruit which segues into a gentle spice and finishes in a distinct white pepper.  Wonderfully balanced, crafted to enjoy in its youth yet very age worthy.

2011 Estate Pinot Noir RESERVE (Eola-Amity Hills): Brilliant light ruby color aromas of sweet raspberry, strawberry and bright flowers, in your mouth fruit elements give way to subtle minerality, tannins and balanced acidity leave your mouth watering for more as the lingering finish begins to fade.  On Sale, check the Online Shopping tab for details.
